fond du lac communications

Fond du Lac Communications, a newly-created communications company run by the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, is installing a High Speed Fiber Network capable of up to 1 Gigabit of speed throughout the Fond du Lac Reservation. Eligibility for connection is restricted based on Grant Funds and current broadband capability. Residents in the eligible areas will have the opportunity to have fiber installed to their home at no cost. Permission for this installation is required before July 31st, 2017; after that date the property owner will need to pay a fee to have fiber installed to their home. Once fiber is installed, a subscription service will be available. A service plan has yet to be finalized, and may be comprised of High Speed Internet, Phone, and Video/Television services. An initial interest survey, map of the grant funded areas, and eligibility look-up, are below.
